Historical Information about Slinger
- In 2007, the library received a Library
and Services Technology (LSTA) Grant to digitize 300
historical photos of Slinger as well as two significant
histories about Slinger:
Schleisingerville to Slinger 1869-1969 and
Slinger Historical Album Schleisingerville to Slinger 125
years. This grant provided financial support
for public libraries in Wisconsin to digitize and make
available online, their local library resources. The library contracted with the
University of Wisconsin Digital Collections Center to
digitize all the materials and create an interface for
searching. The collection is also part of the
Wisconsin Heritage Online Project.
